Who is Aficor?

Aficor is an accounting firm with offices in Ronse and Deerlijk. The partners wanted to know how they could put A.I. to work within their firm.

"How can we apply A.I. within our accounting firm?"

They brought in Flowkify for strategic advice and a custom A.I. workshop built for accountancy.

Project Delivery

Step 1: strategic A.I. session

We started with an A.I. strategy session using our Opportunity Mapping method. That maps out:

• Where A.I. and automation can add value directly in bookkeeping and admin.
• How A.I. can be rolled out more broadly across the firm.
• Which choices need to be made: Copilot or ChatGPT?
• Which A.I. policies are needed for safety and compliance in accountancy.

Step 2: A.I. workshop for accountants

The whole Aficor team took part in an A.I. workshop for accountants, split into two three-hour sessions. The content covered:

• An overview of current A.I. tools for accountants.
• Practical cases from the accountancy world.
• Tips and best practices they could apply right away.
• Using A.I. safely alongside confidential financial data.

Results

• The team now understands where A.I. can be used in practice within accountancy.
• They work with the right A.I. tools, such as the secure, paid version of ChatGPT.
• There's a clear view of automation opportunities, from report generation to invoice processing.
• The next step is implementing the tools.
