Project Overview
Who is Renozen?
Renozen is a Belgian renovation company based in Antwerp, specialized in full bathroom renovations and preparatory work for kitchens.
Their salespeople visit clients at home and have to sell a renovation the client can't yet see. They get around a thousand leads a year. Out of every five bathroom conversations, one turned into a client, on average. Renozen wanted to know if A.I. could help win over hesitant clients faster.
The challenge
Today, the salesperson explains how a bathroom could look, and the client has to picture it themselves. A 3D plan only comes much later in the process, well after the conversation is over.
"How do we make sure a client immediately sees what their bathroom could look like, and trusts us because we've already done this many times in their neighborhood?"
Project Delivery
The approach
We started with an A.I. Opportunity Mapping, where we mapped out every A.I. opportunity at Renozen and weighed them against each other on value and complexity. Visualization and references came out on top as a quick win.
That was followed by a Business Value session, where we set the goals, KPIs, process, user stories, and architecture together. We also built a clickable mockup, so the team could try out the tool before a single line of code was written. From there, we built in short one-week sprints, with a demo and feedback from the team every week.
To keep the scope tight, we started with an MVP: a web app for sales, with two parts.
1 · Nearby references
A map showing all of Renozen's completed projects, so the salesperson can show what they've already done nearby.
- As soon as a project is delivered and the handover document is signed, the site manager takes photos.
- Those photos, along with the address and project type, are saved in a reference database.
- The salesperson opens the web app at the client's home and sees every reference on a map.
- They can filter and search, for example by style or type of renovation.
- They click on a reference and show the photos from that project.
The benefit: instead of just saying they have experience, the salesperson can show they've already done this multiple times on the same street or in the same town.
2 · Visualize your bathroom
An A.I. feature that turns the current space into an image in the style the client picks.
- The salesperson takes up to four photos of the current bathroom on the spot.
- They upload those to the web app.
- Together with the client, they pick one or more styles — japandi, Scandinavian, industrial, or modern, for example.
- The A.I. generates new images of that same space for each style.
- The images appear in a gallery, with a before-and-after comparison.
- Every previously generated image stays saved in a library.
Behind the styles sits a style database. Each style has a description and a set of reference images, so the output always matches Renozen's own visual identity. We tested and compared several image-generation models before choosing one.
The benefit: the client sees their own bathroom in the chosen style, right there during the first conversation.
Tools used
The web app runs on the Microsoft cloud and works on laptop and iPad. For the map, we used a map component with zoom and filters. Image generation runs through A.I. models we tested per style. The references are linked to existing data in Teamleader and SharePoint.
Login works through Renozen's Microsoft account, and the app was styled to match their brand look and feel. Roles and permissions make sure every employee only sees what's relevant to them.
Results
Renozen's salespeople now have one tool on their iPad that lets them show instead of explain during the conversation. Nearby references build trust. The visualization gives the client a real picture immediately, weeks before the first 3D plan exists.
The goals we set together are clear: bring the closing rate for bathrooms from one in five to one in four, and get more qualified leads out of the existing lead flow.
The project stayed on schedule and within budget. Flowkify continues to support Renozen as its A.I. partner, with a next phase focused on lead generation through the website and videos made from the generated images.
